Thanks for the tip ArrGee, I hadn't heard of The Sound of Vinyl before. I ordered a copy of We Love Life, and This Is Hardcore which arrived today.
No Problem. I got We Love Life and His n Hers myself. I did have the 2LP His n Hers, but as usual got suckered into getting this one as well. All I want now on the LP front is Pulp Intro.
I know what you mean about getting suckered in. Years ago I decided that I would stop 'collecting', and only buy for the music, disregarding how tatty a record sleeve is. I made a single exception: Pulp. I decided I wanted everything, and that was working out okay, until they started releasing all this stuff again. I think Jarvis made a request to fans some time around 1996 - please do not buy the Fire CD re-issues. Too late, I was already obsessed, and had to buy them all. I got both the black and coloured vinyl Fire releases, and even though Pulp got a rough deal from Fire, I have to say they were lovely releases.
Oh, that reminds me... I had my RSD 2015 They Suffocate At Night out at the weekend. When new it was gorgeous, brilliant yellow against the blue, with a lovely green margin undulating between the two halves. Now it looks much duller. Has this happened to anyone else, or is it just my eyes? The other RSD 12's had fairly nasty reproduction sleeves, but the Su
I'd love a copy of Intro, but have never seen one for less than about £30. The cheapest one I can find today is £40, which is probably a fair price, and I'd grab it if I wasn't broke just now.

I did get all the re-issued Fire LPs four years ago for my birthday. I have in the main resisted the repackaged Fire CDs (Nine at last count) except Masters of the Universe: Pulp on Fire and the double CD Countdown.
The first is quite justifyable, the second one less so and was the one Jarvis commented on - I would urge anybody not to buy it. Please, I find it embarrassing to be honest. And also the way it's packaged to look a bit modern, a bit like our sleeves now. It's a crap version... I wouldn't recommend it to anybody. And Fire records never did us any favours when we were on the label. Being signed to that label was the single biggest thing that prevented us succeeding. It almost made us split up.
Fortunately I have generally resisted the urge to collect all the singles. I would quite like the Gift Babies and Razzmatazz, but those aside I'm not too concerned. Too much trouble to move the band to play records at 45rpm.
