Pulp songs will be matched against each other and you need select your favourite. You cannot select a draw. Obviously you will find some will be more difficult than others. Below are the tracks challenging each other.

 

I will then create another post with my results so hopefully it all makes sense. It is just a bit of fun.

5. Pink Glove V Lipgloss. That was hard! Two of Pulp most underrated tracks.

8. Party Hard V Bad Cover Version. Not only did Pulp choose the wrong songs for TIH they also chose the wrong singles.

Is this some sort of knockout? What's going to happen when it gets down to five? It's as bad as the Euro 2016 with 24 teams and third place qualifiers. Still anything that helps Ireland to sneak through can't be all bad

The trouble with Pulp is that every time you think: 'these are my favourite Pulp songs', or 'this song is the most brilliant thing ever written', you go and listen to another one you haven't listened to for ages and re-fall in love with that, instead!

There is just a surfeit of marvellousness.

I see it like Brazil 1970, the first exposure of something incredibly awesome that is never surpassed though often matched (e.g. Netherlands 1974, Brazil 1982, Spain 2010) .  The beautiful song. if you like.  So good they even stuck it on Hits, even though it wasn't.  A hit, that is.

I guess, all that makes My Legendary Girlfriend the equivalent of the Mighty Magyars.  

 

 

PS I am not old enough to remember The Mighty Magyars!
