Hey folks, I could really do with getting a copy of... https://myspace.com/thegeorgemanchester/music/song/hotb-radio-sheffield-review-circa-1982-83-113481139-129007573 for Portfolio #2. Does anyone have the nouse to download the mp3 and upload it somewhere for me? Many thanks!!

Why not try simply recording the stream live as it plays? No extraction needed.

...or don't. The website I found was www.grabthatfile.com/ - but it only seems to want to grab the first 46 seconds for some reason. Back to the drawing board.

Ah. Yes, I used that site and also have 46 seconds-worth. Bah! I think it gives you half the track. Thus generously chopping off the relevant bit!

Do you have Audacity? It's a free download. You can set your sound card as the primary input and record the stream that way, or otherwise link your headphone and microphone sockets with a jack.
