Jarvis's letter to Santa.jpg

I just wondered: has anyone ever seen Jarvis write in normal handwriting or does he always write in capitals?

I like how in number 5 he's essentially just saying "I'm 50. And still a 32" waist" to anyone who'll listen.

Mind you, I can't talk. I still boast about it at 35!

What is 15 flare in number 5???

I could hate him for the beginning of number 5. Must he say that?

35" leg...really? Panther may be able to confirm, but I don't think he's ever been that tall ?

Oh and electric car charger - talk about first-world (first class?!) problems !

The Vox guitar pedal a morsel of hope that he's getting his arse in gear to record/tour ?

Eamonn, re Jarvis's 35" trouser leg - I find this entirely believable because in the early '90s I used to wear men's jeans with a 32" leg (worn with boots) and you know I am not tall! Jarve does like his Cuban heels on stage, too, doesn't he, so that might need allowing for.

As far as I am aware, he is 6'2" and he is, of course, enviably long of leg.

Re the Santa list - the funniest things on there for me were the cashmere underpants (any excuse to mention underwear) and the cuddly toy ('The Generation Game' TV prog reference, I presume. Showing his age and mine again).

And going back to my initial comment about Jarvis's handwriting - it must take so LONG to write everything in capitals. How did he ever manage to pass an exam?!

From Wiki

Bell-bottoms (or flares) are a style of trousers that become wider from the knees downward, forming a bell-like shape of the trouser leg. Also known today as "bootcut" or "bootfit". A 15" flare is pretty big.
