Will I'm sure your ears are better than mine, have uploaded a sample of the first two songs from Powerhaus for you to compare. She's a lady is missing from this copy too, the tape cuts in during Stacks.
I had a delve into my recently unearthed Pulp paraphernalia to see if I could work out the origin of the tape and found the original cover which shows it was a bootleg I would have bought from the market. Interestingly also found a few notes from Pulp People requesting the Camden Palace gig from me, so there must have been at least a few copies floating around the fandom, and presumably I wouldn't have been the only one to buy a copy, so like Will said maybe it just fizzled out somewhere along the line. Anyway, am pleased to have revived it.
Listened to most of this tonight - nice little show, thanks for uploading. This and the Powerhaus one are both really good quhe ality for the time - wonder if they were both recorded by the same person?

On the other side of the tape you mention The powerhaus 23/12/92 does your copy include 'shes a lady? circulated copies are missing this track...I remember going to this show
Aah, that explains the shouts for Maureen and My Lighthouse!
We got satsumas, crackers, She's dead & marbles instead..Happy xmas.
Thanks for the Powerhaus 92 sample. Your copy is certainly from the same source as mine, but as I suspected the quality is a bit better - less hiss and a little clearer.
If there's any chance you could share the whole thing that would be great, but in any case it is worth holding on to. And if there's anything I can share in return, just let me know.
Does anyone know if the Powerhaus show is already available to download from anywhere? Never heard that one before, and definitely haven't ever heard a live performance of "She's Dead".
'She's dead' appears to have been rarely played live, but i do know of one other live recording that exists 'The Leadmill, Sheffield 28/12/91 which is pretty good.
Styloroc also gets cut off, that's how it is on my tape I'm afraid. Sound quality is variable but generally seems to improve after a couple of songs.
I particularly like Jarvis's rebuttal of the theory that Countdown is a song about premature ejaculation!
Thanks for the offer of a swap Will, can't think of anything offhand but will keep it in mind.
Very off topic but while I'm here - I used to have some promotional posters for This is Hardcore which I swiped from outside my sixth form where they were posted, they were a bit grubby but I was very fond of them. A bit later I saw them for sale cheap in the fanclub shop but failed to get any and my original ones have long since disappeared. Has anyone seen any about? They were basically like the single cover, half legs and the other half a pink block with "This is Hardcore" in white, I was guessing they were cheap and mass produced so hoping there might be a stack of them somewhere which was why they ended up for sale through the fanclub.
