He generally sounds a lot more northern when he is being more chatty, rather than presenting something. I remember thinking how lovely the chatter was between the 4 of them that Lammo had on together before the reunion, like they were all just sat round having a natter in the pub, not being interviewed on the radio.

Yeah, his presenting voice is very mannered most of the time, as if he feels he has to be at his most professional and on his best behaviour. Shame really.
