Half the hotels were full when I booked last weekend as well, I heeded a warning somewhere, maybe on the Docfest website, that accommodation fills up during the festival.

be careful when booking with Russell Scott hostels - they overbooked massively when Pulp did the arena gig and then only notified everybody a couple of days before
Very professional looking yet the Sheffield charm offsets it in a lovely way. Can't wait to see it now.
Geek notes: Jarvis talking about what else is going on that night, more or less quoting himself from his song 'Tonite'. Interesting choice in font with the Hardcore era stylings. And the home-movie footage at 1:06...wonder where that's from?
Any news on if the BFI will be screening? I can't make it to Sheffield (I just bought a new computer and have fuck all money) and I'd love to see it somewhere a little closer to home.

The BFI are screening it at the same time as Sheffield apparently Sarah.

That looks like Day That Never Happened footage to my eye.

It is indeed footage from Day That Never Happened.
Most of the clips shown in the film are from behind the scenes with the band getting wrapped in foil.
Not to much from the actual gig except to show the 'snow' that Mark was suppose to blow around during what I assume would be "Snow"

I don't think they played "Snow" again after 1984 so it may have been for something else
Did his name not pop up on other resent PULP stuff? Does anyone know how much influence/involvement he has since the mid 80'? Nothing on the pulpwiki?
Tim was present, and performed percussion, at the Big Melt live show at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. His percussion seemed to consist of hitting empty oil drums and tubs and things. It all looked homemade anyway. I think he and Jarvis have stayed friends through the years. He is an artist these days and I quite often see him cycling around Sheffield with a somewhat beatific smile on his face. You can buy his stuff from Rare & Racy in Sheffield.
The Sheffield city hall has a very special place in my heart, ive had some magic nights there, and this night is gonna be magic too..see you all there..
