Then there's this thing called SXSW live, Jarv's talk at 5:30 PM CDT whenever that is, don't really see that that can mean live live, maybe just recorded live, unless he's doing it again. The film's been on twice I suppose and all the bands on Steve Lamacq's programme earlier were talking about playing multiple times.

This looks like it's on again this morning at 10:30, though having said that the timings seem a bit approximate, Mr Sulu is still on at 2 minutes to 10 GMT (5hrs behind). I watched it last night but missed the beginning for the same reason. Usual mix of lyrics readings and stuff. Someone asked him at the end about extra songs that were never released and he told them about the deluxe versions and that there were a lot of WLL era songs around, but he had no idea if anything would ever happen to them. He also said he was trying to do something creative during his sabbatical from 6 Music, but he can't talk about that!

That youtube interview...it's interesting how Jarvis and Steve are still so nervous/awkward/self-effacing after all these years when being interviewed about themselves. Also, the interviewer noticeably asked "What's next, not for Pulp, but you guys?" as if he had been briefed not to mention the 'P' word.
Damn their continued secrecy, but surely it's got to be a new solo album, with Mackey in-tow, or nu-Pulp...right?
Is the SXSW talk available on a playback service or do you have to catch a repeated broadcast at a specific time?

It is noticeable in the AUreview interview they say WE can't talk about that - is that just because they're both being interviewed at the same time or because the something is something they are doing together??
The SXSW thing appears to be on a 12hr loop, it came on about 10:15 last night and same time this morning, though who knows how long for.

From this week's NME. Are those of you that were filmed for it allowed to say anything now it's had its premiere? - I don't want to push into saying anything you shouldn't/don't want to.

Looking forward to seeing this at long last, whenever it turns up on these shores... I know Jazza and co will remember it was a long, long day, and bitterly cold at times, but it was all worth it. And yep, I can see me and the missus in that preview clip... eek!
It's a pity that what was written on his slide can't be known. He did use that, didn't he? It's said to be a powerpoint speech or something as I recall.
He mentioned the unreleased stuff of the WLL era, and said he didn't know whether those songs would ever come out. Really hope they do release them. Is there any reason not to at all?
I would like to have the audio of him reading those lyrics, and listen to them from time to time. It would be great if Brother, Mother, Lover had an audiobook version.
