Most of you on here will be too young to remember this but in the 70s the BBC did a brilliant adaptation of Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', which scared us all silly at the time. It was very true to the book and it starred handsome Frenchman, Louis Jourdan, as Count Dracula. He was terrifying and sexy in equal measure but the most scary thing of all about this production was the music, which makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up to this day when I hear it.
I have seen some of the other Dracula films over the festive period but keep coming back to this one, which I think is the best; the reason for my post is that I think Louis Jourdan and Jarvis Cocker not only have similar facial structures but they also have a very similar quality, presence-wise and voice-wise, so I think someone should cast Jarvis as Count Dracula! He would be perfect. (This is meant as a compliment, not an insult, btw).
Here is the link to it on Youtube, just in case any of you fancy watching it:

(There are also some nice interviews with Louis Jourdan on Youtube. He was and is a real gentleman, with the most immaculate English).
