That would be fantastic but I can't see how Jarvis would have had time. He is always here, there and everywhere doing other stuff. Hope I'm wrong.

Whatever it is, it's been planned because he must have organised his time off the Service before now.

Ooh Jarvis you're a right tease.

TBH I have too much Sunday Service to catch up with already, and will be glad for a break, as selfish as that is.

Seen the listings up to the 12th Jan and John Cooper Clarke is in his place both weeks.

If Pulp "come back again" I'm going to rip my hair out either from excitement or frustration. I haven't got the money to keep throwing it at them...

A bit disappointed that he still said nothing this week.

Just found this in the Radio Times, boo hoo. He's having a year off. No idea what he's up to instead.

What a strange story. Was it just me or did everybody else travel back in time to 2012 about half way through?

I've just written a Pulp-related Christmas fairy-tale for my friends... wonder if it's coming true?!

I school I wrote a modern day Cinderella style fairytale, where the ball was a Pulp gig, the Prince was OBVIOUSLY Jarvis, and the glass slipper was a blue Adidas campus.

Ha-ha-ha! Sounds brilliant!

Mine is a ghost story (supernatural, yet funny, I hope) and it involves a Christmas Eve visitation (via the chimney, of course) by a scarlet corduroy-clad person from Yorkshire, bearing gifts...

How old were you when you wrote your Cinderella story?

That's adorable. Did you keep it?

I am keeping mine to laugh at when I'm an old lady.

I kept it for a while I reckon, but sadly it is no more.

Makes you wonder how many stories, songs, bands, paintings, outfits and so on, have been inspired by Pulp. I'm still on the lookout for the perfect black velvet suit...

Correct! Only one with that perfect drape and cut. I guess it was second-hand, not originally made for Jarvis, so I wonder who it belonged to first? Someone tall, obviously.
