Did anyone else go? Seeing people bopping to Pulp b-sides was a bit surreal. Though equally I think there may have been a few punters groaning at the attempts to shoe-horn in another Pulp song every second or third track.
From hazy memory, probably missed a couple, the DJ spun these Pulp songs (easier to think in order of Pulp release rather than the order he played them):
My Lighthouse Stacks Babies Razzmatazz Joyriders DYRTFT? Pink Glove Your Sister's Clothes Seconds Common People Sorted Misshapes PTA Disco 2000 Something Changed I Spy Underwear Bar Italia (to close the night) Help The Aged Like A Friend Trees Minnie Timperley
No 'After You' surprisingly, only realised that now. Good night overall.. apart from paying £4.40 for a can of Guinness!!?! There's a reason Carlsberg on tap is £2.90. It's crap!
I think most of the lagers and wine were cheap enough. Probably watered-down but that's what you often get with Happy Hour type prices. Just remembered Mile End got an outing too. I'd heard the Leadmill was good that night?
I kept to Carlsberg and cheap shots all night, and I ended up wonderfully drunk. I did ask for Sheffield: Sex City in honour of the 3 people wearing those shirts (one of which was me) but the DJ said no
