Yes, just the same. I've been chatting to a PR lady who's been sorting me some things out, among them is one of these, she was deciding on a price because she doesn't want them anymore and I was just trying to gauge how much I ought to put aside.
Anyway, turns out not as much as I thought. Once I get it, I'll never let it go. :)
By the way, I like how Jarvis hasn't got sick of signing his own name here. I mean, like he's still forming letters instead of just a J and a line!

I do possess the one above, it was a gift, and I'd absolutely never sell it.
In general, when I've seen signed Pulp items on eBay, they don't sell for much. And I suppose that's the way I think it should be - their value should be sentimental, linked to the story behind them.
Have you seen the signed Mother Brother Lover that's doing the rounds on eBay?
Whoever's selling it obviously asked Jarv not to write it to anyone, just to sign it and write some Common People lyrics in. They're trying to sell it for somewhere around £180!
I mean! Mine is worth everything to me but I certainly wouldn't put £180 on it If I was going to try and flog it!
Cover art on the paperback version is an improvement, don't you guys think?
Ooh I like both, I think the hardback is very Jarvis, I reckon he properly picked it and that makes me like it a lot. But I can also see why the photos on the paperback, and I do like looking at photos of Jarv...
They do look slightly printed in the photos but there's no doubt that they aren't when you've got one in your hand, cos you can see the struggle they all had trying to write on gloss photo card with biros!
i love the fact that Steve hasn't yet fancyfied (probably a word) his autograph, and Jarvis hasn't got sick of writing his!

You can imagine if they had to do lots of these, it would be a bit of a production line, so you would expect the same pen and most probably tend to stick to the same corner too. But these 2 aren't identical - Nick's k overlaps Steve in the bottom one and one stroke of Candida's second x is more vertical in the top one. We could play spot the difference all day.
