How about a 10th anniversary book launch party? Maybe he would turn up unexpectedly to that ;)

Just to be pedantic on this bit - the line-up for the only gig they played in 1997 was the five of them plus Antony Genn (and, I guess, Gavin Bryars and the English Chamber Orchestra).

From 1998 right up till Auto, Hawley was there for every gig.

All the 1998 gigs had Joel White on extra keyboards I think, and some of them had some dude playing trumpet on Hardcore

The only gigs they ever played as a five-piece as above were the small Edinburgh and Ireland ones in 1999

And Venice?

Interesting..never really thought about the lack of Pulp-members-only Pulp shows. What about the DC line-up...was it just the band all through '95 and then for the arena shows in '96 joined by Pablo Cook? Was he still there for the festivals in summer '96? And Russell's last gig, in Barcelona, it was just the band?

I suppose I could check all this on pulpwiki, couldn't I?!

Yeah, a Truth & Beauty 10 year piss-up next summer where we can create a drinking game around this.
