Surely the Bowie album was more of a shock? Mbv have been, at least, performing a fair bit of late!

To be fair, Bowie released a record in '03, was touring up to '04 and was even still contributing to albums in 2008 and had a very good health reason for taking a break (and a much larger back catalogue for fans to walow in). What's MBV's excuse? They, in theory, were recording this record since Loveless in '91. That's a workrate that even Scott Walker would call a little tardy.

Imagine if its awful! You've been working on something for 22 years approximately, and the general public just say 'meh'.

That's what it must be what Axl Rose feels like.

It's got pretty good reviews, I'm looking forward to hearing it

I like it, it's like Loveless part two, with a bit of evolution.
