It's good as well, loads more people will watch because of Brand so will see the new Pulp single being performed, so more promotion!

Point of interest, but Jarvis and Russell B do have history. Jarvis was one of the songwriters for Brand's - pretty damn funny - Get Him to the Greek. J didn't write the best songs, but certainly must think something of Brand to have taken the project on.

And more than once I've seen pics of Jarvis in the paper going to Wossy's Hallowe'en parties, must be pretty matey.

I like Russell Brand, think it will be a good show.

Sadly I will miss it as it's my first day back on the booze since January :)

Ok so tonight, no interview. russell brand is annoying (see above) though they'll edit it to make him look like the funniest fucker ever. I've met him a couple of times ,don't mean to name drop and he is actually very charming, but i really don't get it!

Sir David Attenborough was interviewed that was good, then Eddie Izzard but it kept getting interrupted by brand spreading his legs in his wet look leggings, anyway eddie izzard was good no belly laughs. dolph lundgren was quite painful...... not his fault i just don't think he'd seen the show. do your research man! looks good for mid 50s anyway.

then brand. yawn. look at me i'm an addict and i'm now int hare krishna and west ham blabla

THEN PULP (although they'd done 2 segments i think as the show starteed then after jonathan ross first bit) it was disco 2000

tricia, steve was looking hot hot hot. but a gay long scarf. jarvis had on his brown suit. oh i sat next to his girlfriend in reception.
candida had on a beautiful sparkly/sequin dress i think she's worn it on gigs.

anyway pulp then did after you. it was good good good. i was hoping they'd fuck it up so they'd have to do it again. no interview, gutted. no word of an album or anything

so after that i went to the green room. the non famous one, although i didn't know there were 2 at the time. nick came in, i accosted him. i said i was a massive fan etc, but didn't ask about an album or anything as i chickened out. i asked though about gigs or tv. he said that their diaries were completely empty, with nothing planned, but who knows what will happen. he was very nice. even when i said 'i saw you in the canteen earlier, i thought i better not hassle you when you were eating your mash'.
oh dear, mental stalker alert.

he said, yeah i had to eat mi'tea.

for your info, he had some sort of meat thing with gravy, mash, and green beans
i saw candida in the canteen too, she had a different thing probably a pie, with mash, gravy and green beans.
i also saw mark in the canteen but not what he ate. only saw him give candida a hug at the self service bit

oh i got my picture with nick too. i might put it up once i see what it looks like properly! i know he's blurry.

so nick says there is nothing in their diaries. but i don't believe him!!!! why would they have gone on jonathan ross??? i could ignore the tweets from that bloomenburg or wherever guy, but going on this show, there must be more to come.

sorry, i've drank wine for the first time in over 6 years tonight. hope this doesn't seem too mental!

I got Jarvis to sign my copy of Separations, Mark and Nick have arrived too. I would have gotten Nick to sign Separations but he was with someone!

No mention of a DVD either, so this is definately more than "just a thank you" to the fans

Weird that they've set up the neon letters on a curve, pretty cool nonetheless!

Setlist FM confirms that it's After You played, but most of us already kinda gathered that :D

I'm very excited for the show on Saturday night, something is definitely afoot.

yes it was after you, with disco 2000 segments. I'm in the green room waiting for them to come in, but I don't think they will. I'd probably not say anything anyway. no interview. Russell brand was annoying.
