Remember when they played Misshapes and I think it was Babies at the NME awards - that was a big surprise (but reflected something Fred said just days before).
Then Fred asked us what sort of alternative 'new album' we would all like.
Then we had the After You surprise.
Now they're suddenly appearing on Jonathon Ross. You think it has to be After You, but I wouldn't put it past them to be something totally new!)
I wonder how it will sound live compared to the recorded version. A fair bit of production has gone into that, might see some alterations live. Anyone else applied for studio audience tickets?

I have it in mp3 form if that's any good for you?
Yeah thanks blueowl. I don't think I've ever heard/seen it. I remember being out the house that night &- workmates said it was quite funny. Been looking for it ever since!
It's becoming the norm for the musical guests doing the Ross/Norton/Carr comedy-chatshow routine that they are introduced at the start and play a little bit of a song before closing the show with a full song. I wonder what the bit at the start, if any, might be. The riff to Disco 2000 maybe.
this is so very awesome - we get it here but about a week behind! Completely off topic kinda sorta - but saw Richard Hawley last night here in Sydney! f**what a guy! Also stood next to the Red Wiggle for the entire gig.
It'll be the single only. Far too much the teases for anything more. And I can't imagine a DVD/deluxe edition being promoted on a prime-time show like this.
But maybe Wossy will ask Jarvis if there's more new stuff to come after he, Eddie Izzard and the audience go nuts for After You.
Maybe it'll just be on eof those Greatest Hits packages that has 3 new tunes amongst it's all to familiar track list. I can't believe there's anything left in the vaults (bar WLL material) to be exploited.
I'd settle for a four/five track EP rerecording of We Love Life offcuts. For Record Store Day.
Jarvis did, after all, once say he was following the trajectory of the Blur reunion, and RSD is a good time to get stuff out without tooooo much critical/chart attention being paid.
Oh no I've not heard again from the woman that was getting me in....!!!!
And some other PR person has said that normally there's not a problem with tickets but the world (well press types) are going mad to get in to see what russell brand says. yawn
Point of interest, but Jarvis and Russell B do have history. Jarvis was one of the songwriters for Brand's - pretty damn funny - Get Him to the Greek. J didn't write the best songs, but certainly must think something of Brand to have taken the project on.
