I've just skimmed through it. It's not an interview at all, it's a couple of sentences at the end of quite a long review of the Sheffield gig. He says it's certainly the last gig here "for a while" but doesn't believe in saying that's it for good. There's also a brief snippet with the maker of the film of the gig. He promises a gig film like no other, but also says there may be more footage of the fans than the gig itself. No offence to you lovely people who were interviewed, but I'd rather that wasn't the case, I want the gig in full! Oh, and no mention of After You
Oh my, they really printed the picture of me looking baffled when I was interviewed. Hehe. Really looking forward to grabbing a copy at the main station this weekend.
If I had access to the british iTunes store, I'd totally download it there, so if anyone could scan the article, that would be amazing!
A nice 3 page write-up on it. The NME are never anything but kind when writing about Pulp in fairness. A couple of quotes from Richard post-gig, Nick pre-gig and then Jarvis in the dressing room after (though, a bit of a stretch to say it amounts to an "interview" as the front cover promises).
Salient quotes from JC at the end of the article:
"I don't believe in saying it's the last gig forever. There was enough pressure on tonight without saying 'This is it: the final show'. It's not really our call. When we played at Magna it felt like 'Ooh, right. This is the end.' You can try to tie everything up neatly but you just have to see what life throws at yer. That's how life works. You can't impose a structure on it. So... we'll see. But this is it - for now."

And with nothing in the offing, that's fine. I can't see them touring again with the same show they have had for the last 18 months.
Given they have a film of the Sheffield concert in the pipeline and have ventured into the studio in recent weeks, means there will be some activity in 2013, even if they don't play live.
