When I went to the address given on my phone, it said MP3 Downloads Coming Soon, so I'm guessing they're MP3s of the gig and maybe a date for the release of a DVD.
I don't think that they would be allowed to give out films or recordings of the concert because nobody would buy the dvd (and could they really put together a film in 2 weeks considering they haven't even got a title yet?)
I thought it might be what was been shown on the screens at the side. That way most of it would have been edited live.
yeah agree with the mp3 thing but the dvd out in two weeks? No, thats why i said 'pre-order.'
Also Jarvis didnt mention being filmed for a dvd did he, and im pretty sure he does in 'feeling called live' show and 'the park is mine' (the latter im not 100%) - so that makes me think that it is atleast part of the suprise.
Actually, liltman raises and interesting point. Since the band aren't signed to a record company who financed the filming and who would be releasing it?
I'm assuming the band will have had more than enough cash through just touring to fund the making and release of a film. Or maybe they're putting it out through Rough Trade and they've financed it?

Didn't you say things go better with a little bit of razzmatazz?
You know I've been to two other gigs that were filmed; the Sheffield '95 gig for No Sleep Til Sheffield and a Morrissey gig that was released on video as well and I don't remember cameras at either of those gigs but they were clearly filmed by somebody. In my opinion it's just not something you notice if they don't get in your way.
yeah i saw loads. But at the time i thought they were there for the big screens. Sinse hearing about the interviews and the permision to be filmed thing it makes complete sense they were filming.
They were creeping around on the stage a lot to make sure they got lots of the band and not just Jarvis so they were definitely trying to get a whole band perspective for a recording.
Yeah I was stood pretty close under them! It's just I remember the screens at Wireless as well but no footage has ever come out of that. In fact, I wonder if that and some other footage could end up on this DVD?
There were camera people at both sides of the stage; plenty of close-ups of Mark, Candida and Nick. Looked cool on the big screens at the side of the stage in monochrome though at times the picture was static or flickered. I hope they don't take out (m)any of the songs for the DVD. Help The Aged was great despite the mid-song fumble and ditto Party Hard despite the false start.
