Looks like The Leadmill is about 4-6 miles away from the arena. There appear to be trams that run from Valley Centertainment (near the arena) to Castle Square. These seem to run every 15-20 minutes or so. From Castle Square, it's a half-mile walk to The Leadmill.
As I'm not local to Sheffield, I found all this out on Google Maps, so it may not be 100% accurate. Feel free to correct me on this.

Hush, keep very still, for the strangest things are about to happen.
Yes! Went there today and the only problem with getting there quick after the show is with the thousands of people taking the tram back to the center, I'd say.
Alrighty I got a ticket for this - if any of you see me (I'll be the one standing awkwardly on my own considering leaving) please say hello. I have blond hair and will be wearing a pair of jeans and Talking Heads T-shirt
We'll look out for you Jazza, we've already got out tickets too (£3 in advance). I'm a bit sad the queuing logistics/lack of attractive hostelries in the vicinity of the arena make a proper pre-gig meeting tricky. My husband, who is southern (from Birmingham) has brought what he feels to be appropriate attire and has his flat cap, I kid you not. Luckily we haven't had time to adopt a whippet. Is it too late for some kind of forum identification item? Maybe we can get the Leadmill to round us all up.

Birmingham is southern now?
I remember going to a club night in Huddersfield once where they had a dancing competition between someone from the north (Sunderland), someone from the midlands (Leeds!) and someone from the south (Nottingham!)

Went to the Leadmill aftershow for a bit after (I think we arrived at about 0100 after having spent the most awful 2 hours getting back to the city centre from the arena). Didn't recognise any forum folk there but it was very busy & by that point I was very tired. They played loads of indie music interspersed with some Pulp songs. Lovely atmosphere but was just too knackered to appreciate it. Think we left at about 0215 for food & sleep. Didn't get any sleep due to some morons in the hotel shouting, banging on our door & setting off fire extinguishers until 0830 this morning. I was livid & was considering going out and lamping them with a bloody fire extinguisher. I would not have minded so much if they were teenagers but they looked like they were in their late 20s/early 30s. I'm sure they must have been to the show, so if it was you, and your name is Dave or Steve (they are the names I heard being shouted repeatedly all night) I think you are the most ill mannered, immature idiots to have every walked this earth.
Leadmill was lots of fun. Spent most the night alternating between the 60s/soul Christmas room and the indie room taking turns to check which song was playing in the other room. Like the Arena, the night ended on Something Changed.

Unfortunately (and somewhat unrealistically if I'm honest) I'd convinced myself that 'plenty of Pulp songs all night long' meant back-to-back tracks and I'd had visions of myself leaping around like a lunatic to Death II, OU and the like until the wee small hours. Wasn't bad, but think we were knackered by the time we got there so only lasted as long as DYRTFT before heading off for chips.
We were there maybe midnight to 1:30ish, like ChasingNewspapers I had expected more Pulp including at least some level of obscurities in the indie mix from the blurb, but I haven't been to a proper indie disco for decades, so it was great fun still.
