Anyone know what the venue's policy is re: cameras? Wondering if I should bother taking my little camera to the show.

EDIT:  Never mind, called the arena and they're allowing small cameras with no flash.

Really hope they're filming a DVD, with the 'home movies' being an extra feature or something! Lots of rarities tonight hopefully!

Bad Cover Version being soundchecked according to Twitter

The PulpWiki Poll has now closed. The top 10 is as follows:

She's a Lady    44
My Legendary Girlfriend    40
Death II    38
Ansaphone    34
It's a Dirty World    28
Lipgloss    24
His 'n' Hers    22
Cocaine Socialism    19
Underwear    19
O.U.    18

You can view the full list here.

I think people have chosen very well - a really excellent top 10! I'd be delighted to hear pretty much any of the songs there.

She's a Lady was played in Chile, so there is a genuine chance it could get an airing.

Anyway, must go, leaving to catch the train to Sheffield shortly.

no no no not comfirmed - not from me anyway. Someone else wrote it and I was just confirming that I thought they might, but perhaps I have read it wrong? Something about people being interviewed for the extras? retrack any comments that I may have made!

Hope everyone going has an amazing night and that they play a wicked set. I'd love to be going but it'd be impossible to make it all happen today. Having seen Pulp at leeds last year I'm glad to have seen them at least once.

Have a brilliant night!

My girlfriend is having a nap. I, however, am lying awake next to her unable to settle...watching the clock!

If they are doing a DVD, I hope they don't stick to just "hits" to try and flog more copies. :-/

I dunno, she said she got interviewed for the extras on it. If they just want hits on the DVD they can always edit out the rarer songs they might play (though I would hope they don't). I hope it's true though. I'd love them to put out something like that.

To be honest I'm not that worried. It's pretty much guaranteed that the show will be career spanning and a DVD momento is just the icing on the cake.

So 2 of the 3 commercially available gig vids are to be without Russell? Pah! Should have released the Carling Festival one!

They also soundchecked Born to Cry! Stephen, I'm still really holding out for a surprise appearance from Russell tonight even though I know it probably won't happen. If this really is their "farewell" gig it's awful to think he won't be there at all.

Wow, Born to Cry, that means Richard Hawley playing with them but that was expected.
If they play The Last Day of the Miners Strike or Grandfathers Nursery (not very possible) I'm going to have a nervous breakdown.
This is going to be epic!
