This happened with RAH, they delivered them 3 weeks after the concert and I had to rush to get replacements from the ticket company. Pray it will be a little easier this time.
I didn't get any email. I don't think I have an account or anywhere to track the tickets :S I don't think it's alphabetically because I have another pair to come yet. The pair that came this morning were purchased after the pair due actually.
Still saying that the tickets have not been dispatched on my tracker (Gigs & Tours). Not too worried yet as so many of us are in the same boat. Have received tickets on the week of a gig before!
I cant remember what card i used so could easily end up going to parent- in- laws up in scotland....almost 300 miles away....gahh need our tickets now!!!
Just realised that as well as it being ten years to the month I was at Auto, it's also seventeen years to the month of my first gig at Brid Spa. That makes me feel very old. Something special about Pulp gigs near Christmas though!
I saw pulp for the second time this month (Novemeber 21st) FOURTEEN years ago...half my life ago, wtf!! haha I actually met Jarvis for the first time then too. This december will be my 12th Pulp gig - bring it on!
Kicked myself many times since but I missed out on Magna, and the Octagon Centre gig before that, despite living in Sheffield at the time! Wasn't very organised in those days. Did make Apollo in '98 - can't believe it's almost 14 years.
Glad to hear not everyone has tickets yet - I recently moved house so the potential for Tickets Going Missing is relatively high, so it's useful to know when I should start panicking...
Crap - I was planning on getting a late train to Manchester after the concert but turns out the last train is half 10 and the last bus at 21.10 HELP!! Any ideas of how to get to Manchester after?
I requested (via email) that they hold my tickets at the box office. Didn't want to risk them getting lost in the mail, or whatever service they would use if they actually sent them. I think for the Brixton shows the only option was to have the tickets held at the box office, so I assumed it would be the same for this show...
Something just struck my mind - Imagine if they played Death II?! Would be bloody amazing, especially given it's 20 years since they last played it - and that was in Sheffield
Death II would be on my dream playlist, really hope so - then again it's an arena gig so they may well stick mainly to DC/HnH/TIH to keep folks happy.
I'm still planning on acclimatising my other half (my date for the gig - likes Pulp, but not to same extent) to Day That Never Happened-era stuff on the offchance there's something in the promotional stuff/references. Good chance they'll do something to link in (I hope)
I'm certain there will be a few surprises, there's been plenty on the gigs this year and they wouldn't let Sheffield down. And if Russell and Richard take part it'll be even more special

I have the same problem - trains on a sunday morning don't start until 8am and I'm going to have to get back to leeds. I'd be happy to drink a load of coffee and stay awake until that time but my sister probably wouldn't... I haven't a clue how we're going to get back to Leeds.

I'd love to hear Death II as well. Anything from Separations would be great really.
I might add a poll on PulpWiki where people can vote for the song they'd most like to hear. Is that a good idea? I don't know.
Re: getting back from the gig - some folks I know had the same problem with the Stone Roses gig in Manchester. They ended up getting the first train back the next day at 4-5am or something. Prob not the solution you'd be looking for I'd imagine... (plus first trains may be later on a Sun?) Hope you find a (relatively inexpensive) way round it!
Do the poll, Will! One of Mark or Jarvis are likely to check the site before the gig so you never know, they could well pay attention to their public's wishes.

OK, I've decided to add the poll. It will appear in the next day or two.
Looks like I'll be joining you lot at Russell Scott Hostel
I think the place will be filled entirely with Pulp fans! Perhaps it should be renamed Russell Senior Hostel for a night (especially if he plays the gig!!!)
Death II would be pretty much the dream for this gig, however unlikely. Can't think of a song I'd perfer to hear, to be honest. Though saying that, Death Comes To Town is perhaps an even more exciting option...
Though in terms of Seperations, Love Is Blind is the most likely, as that was actually rehearsed, right? Eeeeeeee I'm so excited!
I'd say the whole of Pulp's back-catalogue is fair game now. Back In LA...Dogs Are Everywhere...? I know they were appropriate to the location of the shows, but I'm sure if Jarvis really wanted to play something he could come up with a "tenuous link" to justify it.
Even, in a worst-case scenario, if the tickets weren't sent or delivered on time wouldn't your booking code/details and ID be enough on the night? I've forgotten my ticket to gigs before and never had hassle getting in once I explained the situation at the venue. Don't understand the panic to be honest!
I'm not panicking, not yet anyway, just impatient and don't see the point of a ticket tracker that doesn't track your order. I'm used to horror stories of people not getting their Glasto tickets in time but I suppose this is different!
I've added the poll to the PulpWiki front page, so go ahead of vote for the song you would most like to hear. Actually, you can choose up to three songs if you want to. I've added some of the obvious ones, but it's possible to add more as well.
Nearly halfway through November and still no sign of my bloody ticket! I still have to make my travel arragements as well. Bloody gigsandtours! I have other things to fret about without this on my mind as well!
Hi Will
Great what you have done mate. I have already voted for 3 songs. Just a note they have played the fear and wickerman since the reunion. They played them both at the Brixton Academy last year.
I've just received an email confirming my tickets have been dispatched.
Regarding the poll, the title is a bit misleading - it's not strictly limited to 'unplayed' songs. I couldn't find quite the right wording. Any song that hasn't been played regularly is fine.
after scaring myself last night reading about the US postal service in regards to international signed for mail from the UK (mail sometimes sits here after arriving on time for up to two weeks!), i've just emailed the sheffield arena box office for the third time (ugh...bothered them twice before about address stuff) to see if they've mailed my ticket out and if not asking if i can just pick it up at the box office.
Tickets dispatched. Odd though, I booked through gigsanstours, but the dispatch notice said See Tickets. The numbers match up though, so that's ok, I guess.

See Tickets are gigsandtours's parent company!

Loving the poll on the wiki, very close at the top:
Death II, It's A Dirty World and My Legendary Girlfriend all joint top with 15 votes. She's A Lady one point further back but guaranteed a Champions League place as things stand.
I've voted quite a few times for different songs. Everytime I go on there I realise that there's another one I want to hear. She's A Lady or The Boss would be my tops though.
Tickets finally here. Anyone else thinking there might not be a support act? No "guests" mentioned on tickets, but then again that might be commonplace, it's a long time since I've been to an arena show
For someone who's never been to Sheffield before, what's the difference between red and blue? Is it like Cardiff where there's just two different entrances for standing?

I'm Red doors as well and it's just about where you enter the Arena. They couldn't have everybody in standing going through one set of doors.

Surprisingly, they do at the O2
