Gideon Coe played Street Lites last night on his B-side special, requested by Rob from Sheffield, is that someone here? The listener suggestions were interspersed with some 6 Music presenter choices, so unsurprisingly, we were treated to a Scott Walker B-side cheerily titled The Plague (B-side to Jackie).

When I'd heard the b-side programme trailed, I'd considered asking for Street Lites but didn't, thanks to a mixture of being away from a digi radio during a large part of the show and thinking "oh, they'll never play it anyway", more fool me but at least someone else took the initiative. Probably one of my favourite songs ever, would have been brilliant to hear it on the radio.

If they do it again, we should all request "Silence" or "Tunnel". Imagine the shocks

 I would love to hear Tunnel on the radio, just thinking about all the complaints pleases me. I'm not sure I'd inflict Silence on anybody though!

I'm sure I just heard Edith Bowman say she is going to play the RSD Soulwax remix later on in her programme.
