Didn't Jarvis say on his show that he's in America right now anyway?

spotted at the Hawley concert in Holmfirth last night.

That's all. It's a slow news quarter though, isn't it?

This seemingly ad hoc approach to decision making the band have does not help though does it? They seem to decide things on an event by event basis, surely at some point someone's gonna go 'D'you know what I don't fancy doing this anymore' and they're gonna end up going out with a whimper rather than the bang they deserve to.

Or has stuff been organised that we're not privy to...?

Guess it's just a flight case from Hawley's years with Pulp. There were Pulp flight cases at Jarvis solo shows too.

In my experience of the band...I highly doubt it, in fact I'd go so far as to say a definite "NO"!

When I saw We Are Scientists last year, their drummer had Razorlight flight cases from when he played with Razorlight

Haven't most of London been in Razorlight at some point nowadays?

Very true, but he was the original drummer! (Andy Burrows, fantastic solo musician if you care to look him up)

In the same way that most of Manchester have been in The Fall?

Fran - unwise words. Most Fall members are from Salford - not Manchester. Smith would cut you up a treat if he heard you refer to them as a Manchester band.

The Fall are heading further into 'Granny on bongos territory' in recent days. Mrs. Smith hasn't been showing up at gigs, leaving pop-star hubby Mark to slam his elbows into the keyboards. That said, their RSD release earlier this year was utterly unlike anything they've attempted before and was an excellent record in a slightly horrific way.

I just googled this and admittedly there's been a lot of Fall members, but there's been 8 members of Razorlight and 30 members of Pulp!

And there's way more people in London than Sheffield so the percentage difference must be huge.
