Basically, you make a list of songs and they all start of with say 5 points or something, and so e.g.

Anorexic Beauty 3
Pink Glove 6

Sorry I still don't get it.  How do you choose which songs get hurt and healed? Do you have 2 matched up against each other and one has to win?

Currently I'm giving a point for every win. If it was a hurt/heal system would you take 2 points off a song if it is defeated? I could easily modify the results that way...

Shotoki, I would have suggested giving a point to the winning song and docking a point for the losing song. Two scores for the price of one...

This would be easy to do by going back and finding all the defeated songs. But it would be overly complicated to not include certain songs after they lose a certain amount of points, no one would remember which ones are out. So the crap songs would just have to have minus points

Sounds like something you'd have to do from the start or not at all. Some songs would be out the running already. Some songs would stay in the race purely because no one bothered to put them up against another song. And you'd have to keep checking through the pages of the thread to see what score a song had. Nightmare.

I have no problem with minus points - it'd just mean you'd find it easier to get a leaderboard together with less songs stuck on the same score (i.e. '0')!

Ok thats settled, 1 point reduction for a loss. I'll modify the points and show the current top 10 afterwards.

You'd have a list of songs and choose which ones you want to get hurt/healed

Hmm... Clearly not the worst Pulp songs. Perhaps the most unlucky Pulp songs.

Yeah exactly I think they deserve some easy matches, The Professional and Wishful Thinking are two of my favourite songs! And Joyriders is one of the highlights of His n Hers.

Depends how long people want to carry on for. The longer it goes on the more accurate the results will be.
