Does anyone know the codes I need to type in in order to resize images...?

I've never edited on pulpwiki but the html code is:

img src="image URL" border="0" width="¿?" height="¿?"/>

Jazza, sadly HTML doesn't seem to work on Pulpwiki. Likewise, the normal wiki tags don't either.

Salmon92, I was very much hoping to be able to resize the pictures with some code than resize and reupload the 28 images I'm dealing with...

OK, I've worked it out now. This is the code:

<imageurl>|width=200

I worked out you can put images side-by-side by putting the links together like this:

<imageurl>|width=200<imageurl>|width=200

As opposed to this:

<imageurl>|width=200

<imageurl>|width=200

I've updated the sandbox to show this. Although the source code appears to show that the images are on two different lines, there is no line return. It's a bit tricky to explain what I mean, but hopefully you get the gist of what I'm trying to say.

I've had a bit of a tinker in the PulpWiki sandbox, and I haven't been able to figure out how to resize the images. I have tried images uploaded directly to PulpWiki and images stored externally, and I am having trouble resizing both. I think the best bet would be to resize and reupload the image and then insert the resized image.

Job done. Thanks muchly!

Now I just have to work out how to place some of them alongside each other. Again, the wikipedia notes don't seem to help me with that at all...

You could try using a table to get the pictures side-by-side, perhaps something like this:

It's mostly trial-and-error. I used to work in IT (I'm currently between jobs), so I've got something of a knack for it.

If it was HTML based I think I'd try and persevere in a trial and error way, but I can't really make head or tail of this new fangled wiki-ing. I've got old.

Hope your 'between jobs' status ends in you actually being in a job. It's not much fun to be where you are right now...

Well done for working it out. The PulpWiki markup is confusing. I do really need to spend some time improving the help pages.

To display a small version of an image and link to the full size version:
Image URL | width=150 height=150 etc.
(It is best to use just a width or just a height, not both.)

To resize an image without linking:
| width=150 height=150 etc.

Cheers, chap.

How come various different wikis work in slightly different ways then? Or is each actually the same and I'm just cackhanded...?
