I was in Buenos Aires earlier in the year - an amazing city and country! Those choosing to go are sure to have a great time. And the steak will make you go all cross-eyed.

I spent a week in Buenos Aires in 2008. The steak is indescribable, great night life, lots of culture. I also remember seeing posters for Jarvis in some places - I believe he did a brief South American tour that year!

Doesn't this make a UK tour before Sheffield rather unlikely?

Does indeed. I reckon it'll be one warm-up gig around/in the Sheffield area then the arena. That ofcourse depends on whether more gigs are booked between this Argentina date and Sheffield, if they're in the full swing of playing live they probably won't even need a warm-up date...

I had a feeling that if there was to be more worldwide touring South America would get some action. If this is true expect dates for Chile and Brazil too. If they thought Mexico was bonkers, wait til they go further south.

Once the cruise was announced, it could be assumed there be more shows.

They wouldnt pack up all that gear, cross the atlantic to Florida and not expect to make it worth while.

This supposed date in Argentina is before the crusie though isn't it? Looks like they'll be doing more dates in SA before the Sheffield show.

Yeah, it doesn't look like it will coincide with the cruise dates, but a few concerts in SA in November before coming back home and then doing the cruise as a one-off is still quite feasible especially if Argentina (and possibly Brazil/Chile) are arena gigs like Mexico and Sheffield.

Seems a little strange to go all the way there and then back again so soon after.

Well it's not quite back to the same place nor as far. And the novelty of the cruise obviously appeals to them.

I suppose! Gotta be optimistic!

I only say it because with rumours of Chile and Brazil also, a South American tour around the end of November will go straight into the Sheffield date.

Would they even need to bother with warm up gigs if they'd been playing big shows that recently? There were warm ups prior to Primavera but there weren't even any this year prior to the RAH show - which was a good 5 months after Brixton.

They did play those two songs at the NME Awards though before, may have sufficiently warmed them up.
