We're staying in a couple of black, placky bags.

On the floor.

Of the deck.

Still, it was only £600.

Each.

For booking fees.

What's the big deal? It's just a music festival. I guess it's a pretty exclusive music festival, but you could say the same about ATP when compared to a lot of 'camping in a muddy field'-type events. It's a shame that it comes after the supposed 'final' gig in Sheffield, but if you were offered a gig on a cruise ship musical festival, would you turn it down? I wouldn't. The Weezer one looked class, and I don't even like Weezer very much! Plus the whole cruise concept is very tacky and very Pulp. I'm sure everyone who attends will have an amazing time. Pulp have always been too big to play ATP so this is really the next best thing.

ALSO it suggests that things may not really be over at the end of this year...

I think this is a far more "high end" than "tacky" cruise concept. And probably gives further credence to certain journalists who described Pulp reunion gigs last year as "cabaret with a side helping of music". I agree with much of what you say, though.

And I'd like to have seen Weezer play their first two albums live and band members doing sundry activities of a quirky nature with the fans. I think one of them conducted a renewal of wedding vows ceremony. Imagine Mark or Russell doing that...it would be worth the admission price alone.

That 'ultimate shopping experience' might as well be in a different language for all the sense most of it means to me. I just got angry about this SS Coachella thing all over again.

It makes sense I guess if you're loaded enough (and/or dumb enough according to some people) to splash out on the cruise in the first place.
