Fred, we can follow all the people claiming to be JC, aye.
Twiggy posted the login details for Twitter above: baritalia2007 email and pw (same login for the Twitter account) which I'll try and use later to get more people involved.
I just got a bit of a shock when I looked at twitter, I thought we had 99 followers! But we're actually following that many people - someone's been very busy, Number of followers has gone up as well so it's had an effect. Then I went on Facebook and felt like a minor celebrity when I saw my name up in lights next to the video.
I've been busy inviting 90% of my Facebook chums to 'like' the Facebook page. If everyone on here did that, you'd all have lost five minutes of your life, but if even 50% of your Pulp fan friends (is it just me who has about 50% of friends that like Pulp?) turn up and click the buttons, it'll be a Good Thing!
Oh, I didn't realize we were supposed to wait until Friday. I thought the deadline was for Twitter.
I was busy yesterday following fans of Pulp on Twitter, most of them seemed to speak Spanish, wish I could understand them! Also: a few mentions of Jarvis on the tube, kind of surprised he would ride the subway. Anyway, @ mentions of people you follow do NOT appear in your timeline, you have to actually click on that user's name to see all of the posts they've been mentioned in. Unless you follow both users, then of course the tweet will appear in your timeline. The hope is that the user that you tag might see it, though, and RT (retweet) to all of their followers. Hashtags are only useful because they become automatic search tags, and they get saved in a list of hashtags that are easily accessible later. It's easier to get a topic trending if you use a hashtag. So we should all decide on a specific time on Friday to tweet using a specific hashtag, and maybe we can get the topic trending in each country for a minute or two?? Honestly, I'm not sure we have enough momentum yet. I don't think we've even convinced Eamonn to like our FB page.
Actually, on the official Pulp Facespace page (they're nearly up to 50,000 *likes* themselves) someone has posted a photo of a tattoo of their arm and it's the flower from the sleeve of We Love Life. I wonder could they be convinced to have "Petition@pulpwiki" stamped on their forehead...
Twiggy, my original idea was for everyone to do stuff on a certain day, because I thought people might not get round to doing stuff if it was just a general thing to do whenever, I didn't sign the petition for the first week just cause I didn't get round to it.
It doesn't have to wait till friday if you don't think that's the best way forward (I'm speaking office speak now...)
Have just realised a friend of mine works at Universal!! I have pointed him in the direction of the petition. He is only a small cog in the machine but it's worth a shot.
64 LIKES and counting.......

Oops, sorry Fred! I jumped the gun. Oddly, I'm finding it difficult to get my friends to like the FB page, but most of them have signed the petition.
Is this the complete list of unreleased demos (that we know of)? Cuckoo Song The Quiet Revolution Grandfather's Nursery Roald Dahl After You Got to Have Love The Performance of a Lifetime Darren M'Lady St. Just Love You Baby Six String My Mistake Last Song in the World Medieval Owl Dream Galaxy
Just one thing, the message contains a link to the We Love Life album page, when I think you meant to take people to the petition page itself. I've just added a prominent link on the album page, so people should find the right place in any case.

I've got the email written - just waiting for a link to a passable youtube video...and then maybe some suggestions from YOU LOT about where to send these things. I have a few in mind, but other webzine suggestions wouldn't go amiss!
Pulp fans around the world are staging a 'day of action' tomorrow (3rd May) in order to drum up interest in a reissued, 'deluxe' version of Pulp's final album, 'We Love Life'.
The songs which originally appeared on the critically acclaimed album only tell half the story of the busy songwriting and recording period which the group engaged in between 1999 and 2001 under various producers, including Walker Brothers legend Scott and long time Pulp/Pink Floyd/Beatles producer Chris Thomas
Universal Music Group, in close collaboration with the group, issued two disc deluxe versions of Pulp's earlier albums His 'n' Hers, Different Class and This is Hardcore, offering up to the world the delights of songs such as Can I Have My Balls Back Please, Modern Marriage, The Boss...and Nick Cave fronting the band on a 'pub rock' version of Disco 2000.
Songs from the We Love Life sessions such as Cuckoo Song, the Quiet Revolution and Grandfather's Nursery have been leaked over the years to much acclaim from fans, but oddities such as The Performance of a Lifetime, M'Lady, St. Just and Medieval Owl have defiantly remained in the vaults.

Jarvis himself, not given to hyperbole has commented that "We could do quite a good one (reissue) of We Love Life".
So, if you like what you hear, sign the petition at http://www.pulpwiki.net/Pulp/WeLoveLife and 'like' the Facebook group at www.facebook.com/welovelifepetition
There's even a twitter account too: https://twitter.com/#%21/WeLoveLifePULP
Although Pulp continue to be a going concern headlining festivals and venues such as the Royal Albert Hall last month, there is as yet no indication of new material. And with an album's worth of music in the vaults, this could be the closest the world gets to 'new' Pulp.
Fantastic work by the pair of you. Love the video alterations, Fred.
I emailed a couple of DJ's on Irish alternative radio shows (but both on two of the biggest stations) about it. They've both played stuff like Sunrise and Bad Cover Version on their shows before so hopefully they mention it.
Someone on 6Music would surely mention it. Lamacq and Shaun thingy possibly.

OK, I've sent this to a few ziney types. Drowned in Sound, PItchfork, God is in the TV being the main three. But if anyone can think of anymore, then please do something about it and email them :)
