Hope everyone's alright about that, but we can make the whole thing much bigger and better with an extra week.

We need volunteers:

Someone to set up something on Facebook

Someone to set up something on Twitter

An email needs to be sent to all the major ezines (or whatever you call them) such as Drowned In Sound ASAP.

Other stuff needs to be done I'm sure, just can't think what right now.

If you want to hear those unheard Pulp songs get involved.

 

I'm on the verge of getting that youtube video up I think,  hope it's satisfactory.

I'd be happy to set up a Facebook page - as long as you don't mind it being fairly simple (I'm not an IT person)

Last year I set up a petition for Chris Kamara to commentate on the Royal Wedding - http://www.facebook.com/OfficialKamaraWeddingPetition - it got over 16,000 likes and was successful!

Just let me know what info you want added to it...

If anyone thinks they can manage it, it would be nice to try and incorporate the overall aesthetic feel of WLL by using green and white, the green foliage etc. From a personnal point of view I think that the photo on the back of the booklet is a great one. Lets try and make it as professional as possible!

Facebook tends to only allow you to stay within their structure/formatting I think. The most we can get will be photos and a cover photo.

I'm willing to do it - but equally happy to stand aside for someone with greater technical abilities.............

I think you'd need to get lots of people tweeting with say "#pulpwelovelifepetition" in order to start trending... You would need A LOT of tweets to be noticed though...

Due to the character limit on twitter, its probably best to keep it at #welovelife

Also, with it being a bit ambiguous, some people would probably join in without realising what it even means, yunno? More people with the hashtag and the rest of the web would explain it. if it trends, people will wanna know what its about.

Oh, and as a third thought...aren't most people (certainly UK based) going to be very busy discussing things like Ken in, Boris out/Boris still in, Ken into wilderness / Lib Dem decimations etc. on the day? I think twitter might already be very busy. Not that I'm suggesting this project should compete with mainstream news (well, duh!) but I just thought that with stuff like twitter traffic on the increase, and possibly big, big changes in London (where media types all live) we could be ignored somewhat...

Boris and who?? It would take a LOT of tweets to get the hash tag trending. I think the tag should definitely be #welovelife. Do we need an actual account on Twitter?
