Well done! And I think I'm 5 posts off from being something other than 'The Boss'. I wonder what comes next? Is it 'Eamonn'?

Looking at the list of the most prolific posters, I'm led to wonder...whatever happened to Pip? He's the only one of the 25 most prolific people not to have been on of late (February was his last appearance). He was also working on DVDs of Pulp material if memory serves, and I'm fairly sure he made it to the Cocker book reading in Manchester...

I saw this picture off a link on Twitter last night, and I had to do a double take. I thought it may have been my tired brain, but I saw it again in the cold light of day, and thought it truely weird. It must have been a trick of the light or a sudden blur when the photo was taken, but it still freaked me out. A candidate for "Shitbrix.com" if ever. (hint: look at his hands)
Arthritic looking knuckles? He wants to take care of them.
I can see that the bit I thought was a little finger hidden by a podgy ring finger is actually just the two next to each other and, due to stage lights, there's no shadow between them. The lighting on his left hand is so powerful it's taken all contrast away from it...
He looks like he has 3 fingers, like sloth fingers. Im not calling Mark a sloth - he is totally lovely but in that particular photo he looks to have one arm with sloth-like fingers on it. I just want to get that straight.
For the record I was a member of this forum for about a year before I started checking in regularly so my stats are even more alarming than that. I nearly said you'd have to stick your finger up Eamon's arse to make him cum but I didn't want to offend anyone...
I post alot, ive been a member since 2007 but throughout 1999/early 2000's I read this board alot - I also used to email Alex alot at Pulp People to see when they were coming to Australia....I was possibly a member during that time but forgot my details. I was at Uni during the mid-2000's and was really into New Order and dance music....
Mark also looks like he has one of those big f**k off rings - like the one Noel Gallagher wears - but Mark wouldnt be that uncool!
T'wasn't intended to be mockery! I'm sure I'd have put 'Tricia Mackey' similarly!
And probably someone would call me Stephen Senior :)
An average of 0.5 posts a day since you joined. The sixth most obsessive Pulp obsessive. Well done!
What was the predescesor to this board, then? I see it started in 2006, but I was very much a lapsed Pulp fan for quite some time, so the nearest thing I could think of to this would be the old Lipgloss mailing list that I pretty much lived on from the Autumn of '96 'til, well, I'm not sure. Did it come to a slow end, or did I just end up on a different email account and was thus unable to use it anymore? Hmm...
I did try to resubscribe to Lipgloss at various points over a period of several years, but for some reason the emails never came through. I note that Paul Timms, amongst others, was still active then. Lovely chap.
Alt.music. Cripes, that sort of stuff takes me back. You can access all that stuff still through Google Groups I think...
There are some vital statistics contained in this thread - i have summerised them here....
Mark 'The 3 fingered' Webber only has 3 fingers on his right hand. Eeek!
"Mainstream music is funded by the Illuminati, and they use it to control. He likens it to a fashion show where they display what the new sound, or fashion will be and the masses eventually follow-no matter how silly it may seem. This is why the radio stations drill the same songs over and over; to make a profit from the Illuminati funding. Theres discussion of people who think theyre being original and individual, yet they dress and listen to a particular theme like everyone else in that group of individuals. The system decides whats in and then all of the sheep-le will police the other people to reinforce this. And all of this happens in fashion and music and plays out all the way down to elementary school aged children."
