Well, I think a webzine such as God is in the TV Zine (where the editor is a big Pulp fan) would run the story as a story - i.e. would happily link to the petition, but I don't really know the make up of any other webzines.
I went to a party many years ago which the editor attended. I have compromising photos. Thus I tend to get to plug things I want to :)
Could just go straight to the top, the NME are always very Pulp-friendly, e.g. one of their "interesting" lists recently:
Clever, very clever. I liked that very much. However, you must try and remove Les Roi de Fourmis from the list and what about including the url of this board in your vid as well. Maybe you could delete the Fourmis slide and replace it later with a Bar Italia url one?
It was released yes, but more importantly it dates from the '92/'93 period and was recorded as Pulp's contribution to a Michel Polnareff tribute album.
Oh, so you did! How'd I miss that? I don't know how to embed links but I'll find out how. And wondering if I should have pictures of the albums rather than their names?
So happy this is happening. I'm going to spread some word myself. I tried to start #welovelife on twitter earlier but to no avail naturally haha. I do think such a topic would trend though, despite if people thought it meant something else.
Going to spread the promotional video over a few forums now. Perhaps the stone roses/blur and any other bands that were around at the same time as pulp forums would be good calls too, I know a few have pulp threads.
Targets: Youtube comments, link the WLL Petition video to other videos as a related video or a response video, Radio Text-ins, Related band forums, Facebook, Myspace, flyers, contact with ANYTHING related to all Pulp members.
I may be going over the top here, but screw it, I've been thinking about this all day at work!
That's brilliant Lego! How about #PulpLoveLife? And we put some sort of pass it on message in the forum posts? Then we might end up on hundreds of forums potentially. Does anyone dare post on a Smiths forum?
