I would hazard a guess at the drums being for Jarvis during 'House is Condemned' maybe? He'd want something to do, you'd think. Or would he be guitaring? Hmm? Can't really imagine what it would sound like live.
What's unexplained for me is whether or not the photographer is using a really good flash or not. 'cos otherwise, this is one of the most tragically lit gigs I've ever seen!
Oh my, those pics on Acrylic Afternoons are just amazing. Wonder where he sourced them from? Is the guy who runs that site a member on here; and if not why not?
Is it not Giles Bosworth who runs that site? Or am I mistaken?
I still remember the best (only!) Pulp site when I first came to the world of t'internet. It was called 'Space' but can't remember who ran it. Amazing repository of ~gasp~ Fire singles covers, lyrics, etc.
I love that talking fruit photo! At Allo Darlin/Standard Fare in Sheff last month, the lights were on full as the remote control for the fancy lighting had been left in a glass of vodka and mixer. Who's your band, Jazza?

Yeah it's Giles. He got the photos on Ebay. The lighting looks bad cos a flash was indeed used for the photos - I showed them to Mark Webber a while back and he mentioned how you couldn't see his projections cos of the flash.
Space was run by Anthony, I forget his last name. The selfsame site eventually became Bar Italia.

Hmm...when did they appear on ebay? Presumably a fair while ago if you showed them to Mark. I wonder if the person selling them had anything related...
Re: his projections, I thought the projections weren't working on the night, hence the TV?
