i think they played for maybe 1 hr 45? which is pretty good, considering they are old now
except for mark
Sarah, I thought of you when I was watching mark rock out haha! he looked cute
it was the first time i've ever seen pulp when i've been completely sober, which was a bit weird! i thought it was a very different atmosphere to brixton but it's the first time i've been to the RAH so i don't know what it's usually like there
Mark is a rocker and he likes to tap along especially in the intro to Like A Friend -
any recollections of full setlist? RAH seems (and ive only ever seen it on tv ) but it seems like the stage is right in the middle and the seating is all around? weird venue?

I have a *really* nice HD video of Like A Friend. It has come out great both visually and audio...ally and I was right at the very front. Will share soon! :)

Can't wait to see that. If they play it in San Francisco, my life will be complete!
This is Hardcore with live strings and beautiful torchlight intro.
(In case you were wondering, the lights come from mini torch keyrings we got given when we entered. They were shaped like guitars. Mine was a bit crap and I think I dropped it afterwards.)
Last night was my first Pulp gig despite being a big fan since the mid-nineties. Absolutely brilliant night, personal favourites were Razzmatazz, Bar Italia and This is Hardcore.
I had standing tickets in the gallery, and got there fairly early and nabbed a position on the central balcony. Whilst it was slightly detached from the action it was a great view (especially during This is Hardcore) and got to have a good dance.
Don't think anyone's mentioned it, but after Sunrise (I think) Jarvis made a comment along the lines of wanting to take the audience out o nthe next tour..... an off the cuff comment or reference to more dates?
Only quibbles were they didn't play for as long as the last Brixton gigs, nad the night was slightly light on His n Hers tracks. But not enough to spoil an absolutely brilliant night.
Yes, I heard the tour comment and got all excited, until someone mentioned afterwards he could've been referring to the States tour next month. I hope not.
