Very brief snippet of an otherwise-unrelated dream.
I'm flatmates with today's Jarvis Cocker. I'm talking to my girlfriend in the kitchen. Jarvis walks in with a bowl of cereal and milk. There's little white discs floating in the milk. "Jarvis", I say, "the milk is mouldy". He shrugs and goes "awright" and tucks in regardless, sloping off, bowl-in-hand.

I had one the other night. I attended some sort of talk by Jarvis at a university and when it had finished, I bumped into a gym instructor who I went for lunch with. I then went back to my hotel room and there was a knock on the door which was someone delivering stationery. Among it was some backstage passes for a Pulp concert. Me and the aforementioned gym instructor then went to said Pulp concert where they played "Party Hard".
Had a dream about Mark last night. I was on a bus going through my home town, when it turned a corner and I saw Mark walking the pavement. I banged on the window and he turned his head looked up at me in shock, I got off at the next stop and ran up to meet him. He looked sad and scared so I asked him what he was doing in my home town and told him there was always a risk he was going to run into me there. He didn't answer, he just looked down and he seemed to be crying, so I gave him a hug and whispered in his ear, "I'm just glad you're alive".
Next we were in a park, sitting on a bench and i was giving him a cup of hot chocolate. I took his right hand and ran my fingers over it. "I always wondered why you hands were so soft". He gave a laugh and said, "that's my strumming hand, and I use a plectrum". He then showed me his left hand and it had the texture of a rock. The fingertips were heavily calloused and felt as though they had a pebble sown under the skin.
That has just reminded me, I had a very short Pulp dream the other night. There was a new piece of software at work that I didn't know how to use. I then turned the TV on and Pulp were performing a new song, the lyrics of which were instructions on how to use the new software.
The first: Jarvis was playing a solo set, he then welcomed someone called Lola onto the stage to play acoustic guitar and sing backing vocals. He announced that they were going to play "Hymn of the North" and she got stage-fright and ran off.
The second: Pulp played a new song with the word "Confidence" in the title.
A recurring feature in my otherwise unrelated dreams is that Pulp have a song called 'Ingham'. It's about how much they hate Bernard Ingham. A sort of ballad released around the time of His 'N' Hers. It's cropped up in a bunch of dreams now. I'm hoping it'll get a proper release one day...

Mark featured in a dream I had the other day. He was the manager of a chicken shop (a knock off KFC), and every time I walked past he would look up and glare at me.
- Jarvis on a strange 90's version of drag race. He has an intro with lots of swinging camera angles and close ups, with a sparkly glitter overlay. His first drag look is a mermaid tail with no other makeup or decor, and he swims around in a tank
- Jarvis was my english teacher and made a presentation about the song Tunnel, which for some reason in this dream had a character named 'Bones' in it. He accidentally called me Bones and I told him 'You can call me Bones'. Then he gave me a tape of the presentation afterward. Also he had one of those long teaching sticks
- I get on a bus and Jarvis is ranting about something, dumping information on me. I tell him to quiet down and he storms off the bus crying, then two dreams later he appears again. I ask him why he ran off and he says "I just needed a cigarette"
- Another bus dream, Jarvis walks up to me blind drunk and slurring his speech and then falls flat on his face and passes out
- Jarvis and I are walking down these steps submerged in water and both get electrocuted ??
