A kazoo would have fit on a WLL with Cuckoo and The Quiet Revolution on it.

 

On a side note, the Stone Roses signed a record deal and Blur will probably record an album next year. It's now or never for Pulp.

 I see  where you're coming from, but the kazoo is such an intrusive instrument, I just can't imagine how it would work on a serious piece of music

Well it can be (sometimes) taken for bird noises, so it would make sense on an album with birds references. And WLL isn't all that serious anyway.

That wasn't bad that.

According to wikipedia: 'In the song "Lovely Rita", from the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by the Beatles, kazoos made of combs and toilet paper are featured.'

Although it's not verified.

And I thought Kazoos were meant to be ridiculously easy to play.

I played a kazoo live on the radio once. They're quite easy and a lot of fun to play!

There's a Blur track with kazoo too I believe...

The Beatles did indeed use combs and toilet paper on Lovely Rita. I managed to use one in my old band as well, though the less said about that the better!

I do like her 5 things not to do! I am guilty of two of them, in my defence though Thom Yorke is like a foot shorter then me and I instantly felt like an ass.
