Oh yes! Frank Turner is very cool, although I did really struggle with continuing to like him when I found out he is v posh and attended public school, (alongside one of the royals I think). As I like his music, I decided it was reverse snobbery to dismiss him on these grounds, but in truth it has dampened my enthusiam for him slightly.
I know that, but there is no geting away from the fact your background and upbringing has a huge influence on who you become. It's easy to succeed when you have money and influence behind you, and you grow up having the belief instilled in you that there are no barriers to becoming what you want to be. I accept there are exceptions to the rule, and would like to think Frank Turner is for real and not just another version of that Greek girl from St Martin's college.
