The volume was pretty low at Hyde Park. I was closer to the front, so there was less chance of chat, checking watches etc. but when the other acts were on you could hear people next to you conversing.
Smaller venues are a lot louder. Went to a gig at 100 club a couple of years ago and it was at 11. You had to shout in someone's ear to be heard.
They should vet people who attend concerts. If you are unable to name all the act's records along with track listings (including B-sides), they shouldn't allow you in.
I agree that a complete set would be a very odd thing to occur, but do remember that they played Countdown, Babies, O.U., Sheffield Sex City, and My Legendary Girlfriend, Little Girl With Blue Eyes and Love is Blind were rehearsed earlier this year, too. Also consider that I Want You was still being aired in 2002, Anorexic Beauty in 2001, and even Blue Girls as late as 1999! There are clearly some of the older songs they do still enjoy. Would it be any weirder than other bands playing an all B-Sides set...?

Who did that?
With Pulp, I find it hard to think of B-sides in isolation. Lots were remixes or included on albums, paticularly Intro and MOTU, in some form or another.
I seem to have heard a lot of B-sides live anyway; Mile End, You're A Nightmare, Laughing Boy, His 'n' Hers, Seconds, Underwear
Why would I want to see Pulp playing the first three Cure albums? :p
That made me laugh loads!
But seriously, the playing of whole albums all the way through does not hold much appeal to me. I have whole albums at home to listen to, and one of the huge thrills about going to see live music is not quite knowing what you're going to get next. I love that element of surprise, and the exciting feeling that creeps over you when you hear the first few bars of the next song and it dawns on you what it is. All that would be taken away with the whole album concept.
Plus it has a slightly pompous element to it, a bit 'up your own arse'. I'd much rather hear some early Pulp thrown in with the rest of the mix. Remember how exciting it was to hear Countdown creeping in unexpectedly on the latest tour?

Couldnt really picture them do older bsides though
Pulp fans are very demanding . Just over a year ago, I'd have been happy to see them once more...
I seriously doubt that Pulp would do a B-side gig. Nor do I expect to hear them play anything pre-Separations live. Another Brixton like gig in 2012 would be superb.
