Thats a tricky one that. I would have thought it would have made its way onto Youtube by now if it was out there. Actually I wonder in the Sheffield Archives have a copy? I also presume a sound recording is out there given that a track was later released on the See You Later, Alligator compilation tape.
Someone will have a copy of the video. There's been a few "oh, I know someone who knows someone who's mate has a copy" type conversations over the years. The audio is in the hands of the band, I suspect. Nick Reynolds who organised the concert doesn't have it anymore.

I agree copies probably exist somewhere. Lots of people have stacks of old VHS tapes lying around. Most people don't have the technical knowledge to put things on YouTube, even if they have the inclination
Is it known exactly what was on the Dolebusters video - footage of the whole set or some highlights? Presumably several other bands were featured as well.
I think it was the whole set. The '86 one, which I found in Sheffield library years ago, certainly had unedited half-hour sets from about six bands (amongst them The Bland, The Masons, Doobree Furkin And The Battered Furburger Band, The Detail and, of course, not Pulp)

I suppose the main problem here lies in 'what would we say if asking for a copy'? Obviously the aim would be to disseminate, either by the email accounts, or by youtube, but surely this would be contrary to all copyright laws imaginable. Unless the organiser of the gig agreed? Or would more people need to agree? Jarvis? Fire? Hmm...
On another note, I believe the mp3 of 'Mark of the Devil' from this gig was knocking around somewhere a while back. Can't find it at the moment though, but if anyone could let me know whereabouts I should be looking, that'd be ace!
Stephen - Footage of 'Mark of the Devil' from this gig was released on the first Beat Is the Law DVD. It's a shame they didn't include more.
Mark - Thanks for the info. A nice collection of obscure mid-80s Sheffield bands there. I thought I once read Dig Vis Drill was on that tape as well, although I've probably imagined it.
Mark of the Devil was just about all they could include - the rest of the copy they had (from Russell's collection I think) had been taped over or otherwise damaged.
Dig Vis Drill never played a Dolebusters event, so sadly there's no footage of them to be found on either tape.

Will, I know it's on that DVD, but at present I only have volume II of Beat is the Law. I didn't know if an mp3 of Mark of the Devil had been put into one of the email accounts or not, though...
