Admittedly there aren't really any decent covers of Pulp songs... (apart from Bill), my theory is that JC's style's so unique that other singers can't do the songs justice... but then there's Born To Cry.
The Bon Bon Clubs version of "Love is Blind" is decent. I also like Chevettes "We can dance again" and Franz Ferdinands version of Mis-Shapes is quite good.

Any dream covers? I'd like to have seen Johnny Cash cover something. Don't know what... Someone like the Moon perhaps? I'd also (and this ones more achievable but still unlikely) like to see Me First & The Gimme Gimmes cover a Pulp song. That would be awesome!
These are the covers I have deemed good enough to save on my computer:
01 - Common People (William Shatner & Joe Jackson).mp3 02 - Love Is Blind (The Bon Bon Club).mp3 03 - Death II (Caf Electrique).mp3 04 - Lipgloss (Bowlfish).mp3 05 - We Can Dance Again (Chevette).mp3 06 - Disco 2000 (The Divine Comedy).mp3 07 - Mis-shapes (Franz Ferdinand).mp3 07 - Wishful Thinking (Golden).mp3 08 - Born to Cry (Tony Christie).mp3 09 - Gothic People (Libitina).mp3 10 - Disco 2000 (Keane).mp3 11 - Something Changed (Astrud).mp3 12 - Babies (Jacob M.Ruefer).mp3
Both versions of Disco 2000 by Nick Cave are better than the glam rock original. I have the feeling the mellow one is a Bad Seeds track and the faster one is Pulp with Nick on vocals. I can even hear Jarvis somewhere on backing vocals. Anyone got more news on that?

I love Cave but Dear God, I don't know how anyone could prefer his ''pub rock'' version to the original. It should have been left in the pub. The waltz version is nice though.
I'm not too keen on the Nick Cave version of Disco 2000 but it got used a few times didn't it? BCV single and Disk 2 of Deluxe DC. The Vocoda club mix of common people also on Disk 2 of DC is good
