I dont remember everything that happened in the trixy thread, pretty sure i was somehow in the middle of it though, but i pretty well remember one thing: she / he got angry pretty fast coz it wasnt so bad really.
Anyway, another big thanx to THE MAN here on this thread, who has shared unbelievable stuff for nothing, and that's pretty rare.
guessing she is not peter mansell's sister since she asks about him in her first (?) post http://baritalia.activeboard.com/t14167882/old-pulp-people/ . Supposedly called Trixy Sandhurst from Lincoln born in 1977 (feeling like a real Poirot over here)
Oh, the drama...why does it have to be a band member or someone we know of? More likely it was a Pulp loving friend/relative of one of the studio engineers or something equally obscure.
Yeah probably, anything's possible. I'm just happy we finally got to hear almost all of them. Cant wait for this christmas since it always seems to happen then (except now)
I'm so happy I found this forum. The yahoo accounts are great for rare tracks, and I keep checking back for more! Thanks so much to everyone who has uploaded stuff. It's a real treasure trove.
One question - does anyone have a complete version of Don't You Want Me Anymore from the 1987 FON demo? All versions I've heard cut off before the end.

I believe all the copies in circulation are from the same source - with the end cut off. I'd be surprised if anybody has the complete version, but still, hopefully it will turn up one day.
I wonder if there is even the faintest chance those 87 FON tracks could be included on the Fire reissue of Separations? Personally I consider them among the best material Pulp recorded and I certainly hope they are properly released one day.
I forgot all about writing something for the wiki to help get a petition started for a We Love Life reissue (or at least putting downloads of the unreleased songs on sale). I'll try and write something soon.
