I am completely bewildered but thank you for responding.  smile.gif

And if you ever want to sell that setlist...

Doesn't anyone find it a little ironic that a notorious aerophobe would make paper aeroplanes?

Only if he made giant paper aeroplanes, and sat atop them as he pushed himself off the highest bit of rigging in the venue...

Twiggy, thanks but...no thanks! I fought and scrabbled hard for some of my Pulp setlists and the Glasto stagenotes and they shall stay with me for a long time...

Still can't sneeze without wincing after the Bad Man at Brixton hit me in an attempt to get the first night's setlist off me!

Some people just don't deserve Pulp... He probably just went to see Common People... I'm glad he didn't manage to ruin the night for you. Although he must have dampened it at least.

Have you been x-rayed to check for cracked ribs?  You mentioned "A&E" in your other post but I have no idea what that is... confuse.gif

Accident and Emergency. It's modern for Casualty and English for ER.

They wouldn't x-ray me as they said they don't really treat cracked ribs anyway. I suppose that's fair game - after all, what can you do? Wear a big bandage 'til it stops hurting?

And no, the night wasn't ruined - I even managed to survive the second night. It was just when we went clubbing afterwards that it really began to kick in, pain-wise!

Sorry stephen i must have missed the post about you getting hit at the brixton gig. Im so shocked by that. Seriously...Ive seen pulp alot over the span of 15 years and have never come across anything like that! its all been 'passing around custard creams to share', and people letting me infront of them so i can see, apoligising if they stand on my toe ect...

How awful for you...gosh if somthing like that happened to me at a pulp gig i dont think id get over it blankstare (id get over it (and have infact) easier if it was any other gig other than a Pulp gig)

So glad to hear it didnt ruin you night tho. :D what a horrible little scumbag. furious

Rachel,

I'd still count Pulp fans as amongst the friendliest ever, especially at gigs. There's always one bad apple, though.

He wasn't a 'little' scumbag, either. I'm 5'10" or so and he was another total head above me. His lady-friend was more manly than me, too. She'd tried to get on the barrier earlier and when her hand appeared I thought "Oh! How odd! That man has shaved his hand!"

Sorry to hear you've had to get over something similar at a Pulp gig. Hope you didn't come close to losing a setlist either!
