You might all be aware of this but there's a yahoo account baritalianotpulp (mouthful - sorry) and password pulpnotpulp. Any music that you'd like to share, bring it here. Some rules: 1 no more than one song per artist 2 no more than one song per person per week - just to stop us drowning in music. 3 the less well known the artist the better. Any other rules welcome.

So THAT'S what you sound like if you stick your sugar coated tongue in a wasps nest! I can cross that off my to do list.

Got a nice disco beat. apart from the wasp thing she sounds a little like Roisin Murphy from Moloko.

I have a song in mind now with a woman with an even more unusual voice. I'll dig it out this week to share.

I was a little put off by the less well-known the artist the better. Sounds like a recipe for competitiveness over who has the most obscure musical tastes!

Oh sorry, no. I was just trying to avoid songs we've probably heard already appearing. I put a song by Ms. Dynamite's brother and a song by THe Magnetic Fields who are actually quite well know.

Nah - biatch is fine. I know what I am! I just have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about people getting all superior because they like artists no one else has ever heard of. I know that sometimes it's because they are too good for the mainstream, but sometimes it's just cos they are shit!

Sorry, didn't mean it as a personal criticism, I was just having a minor toddler tantrum cos I couldn't I wanted to join in but couldn't think of anything that fitted the bill. I tend to like songs that are by well known bands, but the lesser known material, so I suppose that's kind of a compromise?

It's the bands name. Neigungsgruppe actually means something like "special interest group" but other than that, yeah.
It's a pretty cool group though, with both my favourit violinist and my favourite radio presenter being part of it. It started off as a sort of art project with reading and music but I guess they decided to make a band from this in the end. I think their first song was a cover of Fuck Forever
