I'm pretty sure Jarvis mentioned somewhere he asked Richard to join them on the reunion tour but he was too busy with other work? Great that he could drop by like that. So that makes five guitarists we're up to now?

Just finished uploading Reading 2011 which I recorded off BBC3 last night.
The size is approx. 450Mb, which is a lot better that 2.9Gb that it started off at!

Got a chance to watch the stuff on YouTube yesterday and it was wonderful. So good to finally see some professionally filmed footage of this tour. Really hope the band puts out a DVD. Maybe they'll film the Brixton shows!

Thanks for suggestions re. the drinking game - was mildly successful but a significant percentage of these people are already bored of me harping on about Pulp / attempting to monopolise the music, so only a few of us took part, guess they didn't want to appear to be encouraging me. If only I had made Eamonn's recommendation of "On this day..." we'd have been truly wankered, so a good call there!

Still, This Is Hardcore was astonishing, and Hawley's part was - as Fuss Free says, "magical". In fact, I'm going to watch that part again.

They really bury Russell's violin in the mix. I actually prefer this mix to Glastonbury '95.

Watched some of the highlights on red button last nite - confirmed my suspisions at the time that it was the best gig I'd ever been to!

My son has very kindly converted Jarvis's duet with The Strokes to an mp3 for me and sent it to the yahoo account.
