I was just confused because when searching hmv for pulp albums, this came up:

but Freaks wasn't rereleased in 2009 (as far as I'm aware- perhaps I'm wrong) and I'm quite suprised that there are albums still in stock from before then. Probably just a mistake with the website that I am making a big deal about but is a bit odd

I've seen albums appear with all sorts of release dates on various websites. Seems like, if they are unsure of a date when listing the items, they just pick a year randomly.

Could also be that they received some repressings in 2009 possibly...?

haha whoever did that clearly had absolutely no prior knowledge of pulp - 22 years out! Seems strange if there were repressings in 2009 that they didn't get separations though
