Is Otley really that bad? I found out last week I had some ancestors who headed there in the late 1800s. Seemed to do alright for themselves. I had it in my head it was nice...!
Oh! I thought Cockroach Conversation had vocals...?
It does, but there isn't a recording of that as far as I know. That was part of Jarv's 1999 solo set at Nick Cave's Meltdown. Otley is the instrumental version that's done as part of thebootlegged Touch of Glass set from Scott Walker's Meltdown in 2000.

Oh and what's wrong with Otley? I've enjoyed many a walk up the Chevin and a pint or two in the Black Swan and Korks.
Okay Okay... I'm sure many of my friends would agree. I however got headbutted by a local because some guy thought my drummer had killed the guys dog. Pretty sure he didn't but you never know. (This was about a decade ago)
Anyway I got my skull smashed. The Chevin is different though - and beautiful at this time of year.

Nope - I'd had a few too many drinks when I posted.
Thomas Bland. Similar (but with more injuries) to why I don't like Knaresborough which I'm told is lovely. But all I think of is the speed/muscle freak in the takeaway who took one hell of a dislike to me.
Ha, Knaresborough is about 10 minutes up the road from where I grew up! Very odd to see these places mentioned on here. They do have a certain something in common - both ostensibly pretty little places with a nastier side that isn't immediately apparent, but rears its head with a vengeance if you're in the wrong pub at closing time on a Friday!
