I've decided to create a PulpWiki thread so that I, and anyone else who wants to, can occassionally point out interesting updates, ask questions, and so on.
I've recently generously been sent lots of interesting stuff from a guy who was a Pulp fan in the 80s and early 90s, including these three excellent photos taken at the Leadmill in November '86.
Russell doing vocals for Fairground in the first two. Jarvis in the third: Sturdy has cleverly deduced it must be during The Mark of the Devil because it's the only song played that night where Russell plays violin and Jarvis doesn't play guitar.
These lovely discoveries have made me get my arse in gear and scan in a few lovely things from Glastonbury which I'll share shortly...
PS Russell looks *terrified* singing live!
Will someone get a gold star for matching up the exact point in the live bootleg as to when these photos were taken...?
The Russell ones are during Fairground, and the Jarvis one is from Mark of the Devil cos it's the only one from that show where he's not playing guitar and Russell's playing violin.
Or do I need to identify the precise point in each song to earn my gold star? Might struggle a bit with that one...

At each show during the tour a password was displayed behind the t-shirt stand, the postcards were given away as a prize to the person who collected and sent in the most passwords.

Oh hang on, just realised Will said that exact thing in the first post. Never mind then.

Wow, I don't remember reading those postcards from '92. Prime material for Mark W's book, surprised he didn't include any. Very generous of Jason to dig them out and share. Hope he's doing well by the way.
Hah! Well there aren't that many Marks who are likely to dig out mid '80s Pulp ephemera.
For what it's worth, the 1985 stuff I found is from Mr Morality's Facebook page. There's a nice date-by-date account of every gig they did on there, including the whole Outrage Tour. No big Pulp revelations, but fun to read all the same.

The list of recent posts came from this board's RSS feed, which stopped working in mid-November. I had hoped it would be a temporary problem, but I guess it has probably gone for good now. I don't think people use RSS much any more. I'll try to get the recent posts showing again using a different method when I have time.
