By the way, Sean O'Neal of avclub.com was tweeting from Wireless (including during Pulp's set), so I imagine he'll have a review up on the site sometime this week.

Haha, not such a bad review either!

I'd forgotten about the warming of hands against the fire, one of the more amusing moments, up there with the Hives trying to get everyone to sit down (and they were eyeballing those who refused).

Another moment that I have just recalled, and I'm not entirely sure whether I loved or hated this, was the mass swaying of hands during Bar Italia. It was a lovely atmosphere to a particularly good rendition of a super song, but it also felt like one step away from lighters out to Laughing Boy, if you know what I mean.

I like to think that we were swaying our arms only because they was literally no room to keep them down by our sides, and it was a good excuse to get the circulation back in them.

I was obviously more drunk than I thought, I was getting free booze all day! What went in with the fire? I remember me and my brother laughing at it because it looked like the one our parents had
