There's a whole series of Youtube videos playing "alternative" (i.e. losing) Bond theme efforts over the actual title sequences of the films they were submitted for; this is what they've done for Pulp's contribution.
It's been around for three years, so apologies if everyone's already seen it - it's new to me, anyway.
That's not how it goes. Whoever did that video is a feckin' idiot.
Watch it again, and click play right near the beginning, so that the initial cracks go with the piano twiddly thing. THEN it works. The gun goes off at "shoot you down", the watch gets a nice "tick-tock-tick-tock" drum thing, the background colours change with the different sections of music, the "rise into the night" has a fucking sunrise behind it.. FFS, you don't have to be a good editor to get that right.
