If everyone paid $50 each (not an unreasonable price) you'd have yourself a nice intimate 1,000 capacity gig. But I guess thats partly because Pulp would be in less demand in the US than in the UK.
November would seem to fit in, though it'd make an Autumn UK tour less likely and mean it'd be more likely to be after the turn of the year. Which would personally suck for me as I plan on moving Down Under...
I know this is not really the appropriate thread but it didn't seem worth a new thread...
I just came across some old fanzine stuff from 1996 and found these old postcards. They're so adorable I wanted to share them to make all of us American fans nostalgic...
K. Posted the Clinton one bc I think that's the funniest...
Also found a trove of old press clippings, issues of Pulp People and Pulp Scrapbook, letters from Alex (remember Alex? Fabulous lady, wonder what she's doing now), a very sweet letter from Mark ("I'm the cute one, so I'm told" LoL), press kits, etc...still haven't come across my postcards/letters from the band, sadly (besides that one from Mark). There's a press photo of the band from "This is Hardcore". Still makes me so sad to see photos of Pulp without Russell.
Is Pulp planning North American shows for the fall? August 4, 2011Nicole Villeneuve
When Pulp announced their reunion in late 2010, it was initially for a handful of festival dates throughout the U.K., and while the band is still in the midst of those dates, a small sign that they may be coming to North America in the fall has turned up.
Brooklyn Vegan has pointed to some blogs that, in their college/university band-booking knowledge, have spotted Pulps name on a booking companys list. They are going for a whopping $50,000 (colleges and universities have insane budgets for this sort of thing), and are listed as available in the month of November.

Thanks for sharing the postcards. If you have no objection, I'll display them on the PulpWiki 96 North American Tour page.

I went ahead and added them. Cuz I'm a nerd like that...
I have this setlist that I thought was from the San Francisco show (I have the L.A. setlist too, but I couldn't scan it because it's all taped up and sticky), but it doesn't match what's on the site:
There have been some offers from far away shores for later in the year which hasnt been formalised or decided upon, said drummer Nick Banks when The Star grabbed an exclusive chat.
