It's so wrong but I've never been able to find this show. The FEELINGCALLEDLIVE video is amazing but I've always wanted it on CD. For years I've looked but have never been able to locate it in any form other than video.
If anyone out there has this concert in mp3 format could you please post it? I would be forever grateful... seriously!
I would make a list of all my Pulp/Jarvis bootlegs but I'm sure everyone already has what I've got.. but If by chance there are any Nick Cave fans on here let me know, I have more of his bootlegs than I know what to do with. lol
hey Cabeadelica, you're welcome! here's the 1991 gig in La Cigale Paris, don't know if that's Les Inrockuptibles show, I guess so. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NVWAHTPF
Anyone now a good source to grab any of these in FLACs? Im specifically looking for Glasto 95, but everything in public domain seems to cut off common people because its available on cd now, which is odd.
I try to stay away from torrents, but will use if have to. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
When I was younger, I used to adore listening to the 'Sound City' gigs, specially Sheffield 1993 and Glasgow 1994. I only ever had one track, I think, from 1995. But I was wondering if these gigs have been digitised yet and, if so, where I can get them? I love the energy of the '93 gig, but also love the '94 one for Jarvis' bitter, angry comments...
It's kind of strange that so few of the concerts from the arena tours (DC spring '96, TIH winter '98) were bootlegged. More people, more chances of them being recorded you'd imagine...
I don't have your list of boots with me but Freek, I think on your list there's one each from the '96 and '98 tours (Birmingham and Glasgow?). If you could upload those when you get a chance, that'd be great. Anorexic Beauty was played at some of the Nov '98 shows (not at Glasgow according to Pulpwiki), does anyone have a recording of this?
I have no recording of the february 1996 british shows, but I do have Glasgow 29-11-98. I'll upload that. It is not properly tracked though, it's 3 large mp3's that contain the whole gig.
eamonn, do you happen to have the whole gig 1987 march 3rd? I have already had Heart trouble and Death comes to town and now thanks to you Going back to find her and My first wife. I'd love to hear the whole gig...
Yes I do, I'll upload it over the next day or so. I'm not au fait with uploading on megaupload or any of the hosting sites so I'll post the tracks to the yahoo account. At least they'll always be there.
A pity about the arena shows but the Glasgow '98 one would be great, when you can. According to Pulpwiki it's the Edinburgh arena show that was recorded in '96 (those Scots a bit more generous at the recording...I wonder by any chance, if the source for those, and a lot of 90's alternative-group live audience recordings are from that Scottish bloke (Iain...something?) who ran that bootleg business circa eight-ten years ago). It contains a rare DC-era outing of Lipgloss so would be interesting to listen to, if anyone has that show.
The entire Limit gig is now in the yahoo account in four parts.
The conversation at the start between the two blokes is great as is Jarvis' introduction. Bits of Jarvis' convo seem to be clipped between tracks unfortunately. After Heart Trouble, he apparently said: ''That song was about dying", says Jarvis Cocker. "Actually, this next one's about dying as well."
